ChartMath scans the market in real time and alerts you when stocks match proven technical setups. We run curated screens (ORB, VWAP, RVOL, breakouts, and more) with backtest data so you can trade with conviction. Three ways to discover: swipe what's hot, pick your strategy, or track your stocks.
Is ChartMath financial advice?
No. ChartMath is an educational tool only. We explain why a setup met specific technical criteria and when alerts fired. We don't provide buy/sell recommendations or personalized investment advice. You make your own trading decisions.
How is ChartMath different from TradingView or Finviz?
ChartMath is designed as a mobile companion, not a replacement. Mobile-first swipe interface so you can decide in seconds. No coding required — curated screens are ready to use, no Pine Script. Three ways to discover — swipe what's hot, pick your strategy, or track your stocks. And every signal includes backtest data so you build conviction before acting.
What trading strategies does ChartMath support?
Curated screens covering popular day trading and swing trading setups: Opening Range Breakout (ORB) with 5m, 15m, and 30m variants; VWAP plays — reclaims, rejections, bounces; Relative Volume (RVOL) for volume spike detection; breakouts from resistance and consolidation; 52-week highs and lows for momentum and mean reversion; gap plays — gap-up, gap-down, gap fill; and momentum indicators like RSI, MACD, and moving average crossovers.
What timeframes are available?
ChartMath screens run across 7 timeframes: 1-minute, 5-minute, 15-minute, 1-hour, daily, weekly, and monthly. Day traders typically use 1m to 15m screens; swing traders use Daily and Weekly.
Do you cover crypto and US futures?
Yes — 500+ US equities, 100 crypto, 11 US futures, all with 7 timeframes from 1m to monthly.
Is the data real-time?
Yes. Our screens are evaluated continuously throughout the trading day. When a stock matches your criteria, you're notified immediately. Exact data latency depends on market data vendor constraints and is disclosed in-app.
Is ChartMath available on iOS? What about Android?
ChartMath is available on both iOS and Android. The app is built mobile-first with a swipe-based interface optimized for on-the-go trading decisions. There's also a web app at chartmath.com/screens.
What backtest data do you provide?
Every screen shows historical performance data: win rate, average gain/loss, expected value per trade, and drawdowns. This helps you build conviction before acting on a signal. All backtest data is for educational purposes only and past performance doesn't guarantee future results.
What's the pricing?
Free during beta. We'll move to a paid plan soon — beta users get founding pricing.
Is there a free trial?
When the paid plan launches, yes — 14 days, no card required.
Do I need to know Pine Script or coding?
No coding required. ChartMath screens are pre-built and curated by traders. Just browse screens that match your strategy, enable alerts, and start receiving notifications. Every screen includes a plain-English explanation of the logic.
